On the east side of the island, a few metres above sea level.
Description
The entrance to this birds'-nest cave is 11 m wide and 6 m high, It opens into the side of a large passage which is 30 m wide and trends to the north-east. At a junction straight ahead has a pit that has sea water at the bottom with the passage seen to continue on the other side. This possibly connects with Ko Lao Riam Cave 2. The right hand branch at the junction is a 20 m wide passage that ascends to a 6 m climb. This has not been ascended, but the passage can be seen to continue.
