In a similar position as the -Grotte du –>Canyon 2): Again, on the right bank and 25 m above the floor of a canyon entering from the left to the Salang river valley near kilometre stone 101.1 on the road from Kabul to Mazar-i Sharif, and two walking minutes from the road.
Description
Brief descriptions
A 2.3 by 3 m large entrance to a generally right-angled cave which ends 10.4 m from the entrance in a 20 cm high bedding crawl (SPELEOLOGIE AFGHANE 1975: 14, cave plan on page 15). CAVE CONTENTS: Speleothems (stalactites and stalagmite bosses, both dry), apparently in a state of decomposition.
