Description
A seasonally active resurgence cave with two south-west facing entrances (both in sandstone, each 5 m wide, 4 m high) give access to a moist and dripping stream cave passage, which emitted cool air (2002.02.14: 13h00, 2003.02.25) and leads to a wet maze fed by water arriving from –>Dangedkol. SITUATION: The two cave entrances lies at the head of a sandy riverbed (6 to 8 m wide), which drains to the Khimrang and has been (February 2002) dry and littered with elephant droppings. POSITIONS (WGS84): N25°21'22.2-: E090°31'32.8- (± 9.5 m, H.D. Gebauer, 2002.02.14): 182 m asl (GPS, Garmin 12). N25°21'22.4-: E090°31'32.3- (ignored precision, H. Jantschke, 2003.02.25): 238 m asl (GPS Garmin Etrex). N25°21'22.3-: E090°31'32.5- (arithmetic average): 195 m asl (Survey of India sheet 78-K/11, 1973).

EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2002.02.14: Blen Marak (Asakgre- Imandura) and his brothers Erok and Hellindro indicated the entrance to H. Daniel Gebauer, Lindsay B. Diengdoh and Annie U. Audsley. 2003.02.25: H. D. Gebauer, L. B. Diengdoh and Georg Bäumler mapped 124.51 m before they connected the survey with the last survey stations in the downstream section of –>Dangedkol.
