Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

More or less ancient (undated), red coloured paintings (rock art) are found on boulders flanking the river (unidentified, no name mentioned) at the village of Garardha (unidentified position), which is said to lie at an unspecified distance --either in a direct line or along a winding route-- of 32 km (note 1) or 33 km (note 2) in an unspecified direction from Bundi (N25°30': E075°50'). ROCK ART 2001: There are some hunting scenes, a curious depiction of a man riding a huge bird, and some stick figures of people holding hands [note 3] --apparently how villagers crossed rivers long ago (LONELY PLANET, North India 2001: 711).ROCK ART 2005: There's a curious depiction of a man riding a huge bird, as well as some hunting scenes (LONELY PLANET, India 2005: 181).More or less ancient (undated), red coloured paintings (rock art) are found on boulders flanking the river (unidentified, no name mentioned) at the village of Garardha (unidentified position), which is said to lie at an unspecified distance --either in a direct line or along a winding route-- of 32 km (note 1) or 33 km (note 2) in an unspecified direction from Bundi (N25°30': E075°50').
