Description
A man-made 'cave temple' (rock-cut chamber used for religious purposes) excavated from the southern flank of Barabar range is situated 30 m east of –>Lomas Rishi "cave" and a little bit lower. It consists of a rectangular main chamber (5 by 2.7 m) with flat ceiling and polished walls and circular antechamber (4 m diameter). LAW, B C (1937, 1974: 196): The unfinished »Visvajhopri« consists of chambers and is a gift by Ashoka.
