Description
»An active sink in the base of yet another doline« (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 28). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what passing outsiders christened »Surprise Entrance« (BROOKS & SMART 1995: 28) and possibly is the same as the Krem –>Pubon, Nongthymmai (Kharpran Daly, Brian D 1997 personal correspondence, item no. 15). SITUATION: About 200 m in a direct line approximately ESE (-196 m north, 65 m east) from the cave entrance to Krem Dam Um (note 1).
NOTE 1: Krem Dam Um near (±50 m) WGS84 N25°15'14”: E091°43'36”: circa (±50 m): 1200 m asl (Gebauer, H D 1998.02.14 unstable 4-channel GPS Garmin 4).
