Description
»Its higher part is stopped by stone blocks with dimensions of 0.5 to 2 m2 [sic! qua: cubic metre]. Its floor is cover by 1 m thick sand sediments. This cave is formed by tectonic fracture along hydrothermal vein of quartz and calcite. The mineral plagioclase potassium-feldspar, quartz iron hydroxides, andalusite, tremolite and zircon was determined in the gneiss country rock of the cave. The rock is strongly jointing and iron hydroxides are deposited in the numerous fine cracks in result of the late supergenetic exchange« (SHOPOV 1989: 15). SITUATION: »At 4400 m altitude [about 14'500 feet] north-east from the Docriani Bamak Cave« (SHOPOV 1989: 15).
