The sight of a 1 m wide hole in the ground (Neil Sootinck 2001.04 personal communication with C. Biakthanga, Lalnuitui village) has been interpreted to indicate a vertical cave (possibly identical with –>Alianpui Puk 2). SITUATION: At a travelling distance of 2 km from the main road from West Rotla (note 1) approximately south to South Lungrang (note 2). CULTURAL HISTORY: The story goes that Zamveli's father, Durbari, cleared the jungle in the vicinity but did not dare to cultivate the land after seeing steam issuing from the cave mouth. Even a rainbow was visible (note 3).
