Description
Several cave entrances give access to a labyrinthine, 3-dimensional maze of penetrable but not exactly inviting cave passages, measuring on average one by a half metre in profile. ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what is preliminarily called Krem Soh Pang Bniat 2 due to the cave entrances' location near Krem Soh Pang Bniat proper. SITUATION: About halfway up the western slope of the –>Lum Lawbah Doline 1 and at the southern end of a jungle clad limestone cliff (about 60 m broad), which rises from a flat, sand-covered area bounded by a scree ridge. The cave clearly takes water, which falls from the overhanging cliff above the cave entrance and was seen in February 1998 trickling even during the driest days of the dry season.
Histoire
EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1998.02.10: H. D. Gebauer briefly inspected part of the complex cave entrance area and found it worth surveying but never came back to it.
