Location
Mutanda zone, Buzi district, Sofala province. GPS (WGS84) S 19°52′38,7” / E 34°08'164". ca. 90 m asl. Surveyed on 9 Sept. 1999 by Jens Römer (BCRA-Grade 2a). Dimba No.4: Length: 15,00 m. Vertical range: -5,00 m. Dimba No.5: Length: 5,00 m. Vertical range: 0 m. Both caves are situated about 800 m N of Dimba No.3. Their entrances are difficult to find, since a dense thicket covers them. Both caves lie only 15 m apart.
Description
Dimba No. 4 is the larger cave. Access is made by a 5 m deep climb. A max. 1 m high crawl continues to the N but flattens down more and more, until the end of the cave is finally reached after 10 m. Dimba No. 5 is just a 5 m deep rock shelter in a shallow 4-5 m deep depression.
