A rock art site sheltered by overhanging rock faces (trap ?).SITUATION: About 41 miles (KREUZER, G 1976: 19) or almost 50 km (India Road Atlas, Eicher Goodearth 2006: 37 F3) from Gwalior (N26°13'25”: E078°10'45” WGS84) along the Central Railway or the National Highway NH3 (note 1) lies the town of Mohona (KREUZER, G 1976) or Mohana (note 2). About a mile (KREUZER, G 1976) further on (south) lies on the right (KREUZER, G 1976) or, more likely, west of the road the village of Tikla (KREUZER, G 1976) or Tikola (AMS sheet NG43-12 Shivpuri, U502 series, 1962 edition).
