Ain Danou 2 (Ghare)

(Chaouene) Discovered during an expedition of the French club CS A.S. Roto-Sport in 1991 (Sable 1993). The cave has not been finished due to lack of time. It has to be mentioned that Camus & Lamouroux (1981) reported a 1,200 m long cave called “Ain Danou II” in their appendix list of the longest caves of Morocco (co-ordinates X526.2 Y504,2 map 1:50,000 Bab Taza, alt. 1,330 m). Both caves are probably identical. Length according to Cahzuac (1988).
