History: There is a concrete platform towards the end of the cave. It is said that the cave was used by monks for meditation purposes [5158] Explo history: - 08.01.2004 explored and surveyed to 19m by German Lao Speleological Project 2003/2004 [5158] Cave description: Citation: Analysis: [5158]: Tham Bouk Xang is a short rift with nicely decorated higher niches. The gently descending passage has a concrete platform towards the end of the cave.
