KAKKAD CAVE

A »sepulchral cave« (SHARMA, V D 1961 edited 1985) consisting of a man-made, rock-cut pit, which had been excavated from laterite and was used in »meghalithic time« (SHARMA, V D 1961 edited 1985) as a burial chamber, reported ACHAN (1929) from a somewhere in the vicinity of Kakkad (N09°53': E76°29').
