Description
Between the villages Jukh and Oakee [note 1] again, gneiss is met with; below in the bed of the [Mandakini] river [note 2] is a mass of calcareous tufa with vegetable impressions. It is of a light buff yellow colour, is rather porous with a semi-crystalline grain.
