EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1982-1983: Rock-cut cave temple, Kunnakudi, District Ramanathapuram.-- The work of replacing the broken ceiling slabs and beams with new ones and removing of the decayed plaster from the leaky terrace is in progress (Indian Archaeology: A Review [IAR] 1982-83 / 1985: 193).
