What must be an interesting cave entrance, as it measures in one way or another 3 by 1 by 1 m (sic!), was found to give access to a climb down to boulders and an estimated 18 m deep rift pot (aligned 110° - 290°) that becomes impenetrable at estimated 50 m from the entrance (953 m asl ±50 m) but estimated 35 m (circa 918 m asl) lower down. CAVE DESCRIPTION 1: Pelletier (2008.02.09 Mss:Road Side …), literally quoted, recorded a 3x1x1 entrance. Followed by a downclimb to a boulder choke at the top of an ±18 m pitch. End on a too narrow diaclase 110° - 290° (note 2) along with an estimated length of ±50 m at an estimated depth of ±35 m. CAVE DESCRIPTION 2: Brooks, S J (anonymous, undated Mss amendment to Pelletier 2008.02.09 Mss: Road Side …): Small cave. TACKLE: Pelletier (2008.02.09 Mss: Road Side …) lists 20 m rope - 3 angners and probably meant hangers. PROSPECTS: Sometimes completed (Pelletier 2008.02.09 Mss: Road Side …) but at other times minimal (Brooks, S J amendment to Pelletier 2008.02.09 Mss: Road Side …). CAVE CLIMATE: Pelletier (2008.02.09 Mss: Road Side …) noticed on 9th February 2008 at an unspecified hour of the day little air flow (air current without identified direction).
