EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2014.02.10: Not only an unidentified village headman (no name mentioned) but also lots of unmentionable guides and puppies (sic!) had a village day out for the sole reason of leading Brian Dermot Kharpran Daly, Simon J Brooks, Des McNally, Richa Jain and Elena Buduran along a relatively long trek (one and a half hours) up the hill from Kharkhana to Thangsah. Just outside the village we were shown two caves. … On the way to the third cave Pdein Am Wah [sic!] we met a group of locals cutting and making brooms who treated us to fresh raw tapioca root [note 2] to feast on [note 3]. After lunch [note 4] we were lead into the jungle where after a bit of searching and faffing Pdein Am Wah [sic!] was found. Simon free climbed down this 14 m deep blind pot which was around 1 m by 0.6 m wide. We hiked back to camp in the dark by a more direct and vertical route (anonymous Brooks, S J et al. 2014.04.05 Mss: Diary Meghalaya 2014 Second Edit: 10th February, Monday). On this ocasion, S. Brooks, R. Iain, D. McNally, and E. Buduran explore the shaft and the strong team of expedition cavers successfully mastered No detailed survey (Brooks S J & Iain R (2014.12.26 Mss 10-02-2014 Krem Pdeng Am War.doc).
