Description
A spring, which inspires karst hydrological imagination, rises above the left (north) bank of Batura Glacier. This item is possibly identical with the –>Yukh Goz of BROOKS (1993c: 3). DUCLUZAUX (1993d: 50): A Yashpert [sic!], en rive nord du glacier de Batura, une belle source arrose un pâturage important. ETYMOLOGY: Though Kukhil means -milk spring- it is not a source of water but a rich pasture renowned to turn cows into milk springs. DUCLUZAUX (1993 Mss, 1993d: 50, 1994c: 38) has not seen what he calls Source à Yashpert but recalls a popular etymology explaing Kukhil signifie -source lait- n'indique pas une source, mais un pâturage tellement riche que les vaches donnent du lait comme une source.
