A circular, cliff-walled doline (closed depression), about 30 m in diameter and an estimated 8 m deep, contains not only the locally usual assemblage of -jungle- (vegetation) in bottom but also a local variety of the usually choked sink in one corner, which -- the choke -- was on the spot identified as a relatively very long term dig (Jarratt, A R 2002.02.18 Mss: Krem Shynrang Thloo 2). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for what Anthony 'Tony' R Jarratt simply christened Krem Shynrang Thloo 2 because he had recorded two hours earlier and somewhere else a GPS position for a so-called Krem Shynrang Thloo (Jarratt, A R 2002.02.18 Mss -Krem Shynrang Thloo 1- 18/2/02 13h05; Jarratt, A R 2002.02.18 Mss -Krem Shynrang Thloo 2- 18/2/02 15h10). SITUATION: In an unidentified setting at an unspecified location (note 1). APPROACH: In February 2002 easiest by steep path up from the junction of the limekiln / Lumshnong / Umlong village paths (nearKrem Matom) to plantation with small sand quarry and old, partly filled coal shaft.
