Location

Located in the karst cave in the northeast of Shoushan, walk up the outermost wooden plank road along the Longquan Temple hiking trail, and go straight on the left side path in front of the landscape platform. When you encounter the small fork road, go straight for about 5 meters and you will reach the entrance. On the road from Longgu to the Grand Canyon or Jingudong, after rains in the northwest every June, white smoke will appear at the entrance of the cave, and the wind blowing out is stronger than the air-conditioning, hence the name. Because the rock wall behind the entrance side has the shape of a dragon's head, Shanyou believes that the white smoke is a dragon spitting smoke. BARRY - 16/09/2025

Cave exploration application website: snnpact.nnp.gov.tw/landscaper/index_en.php General description The entrances and exits are in different locations. In summer, the temperature in the cave is low, and the entrance of the cave is very cool and windy, such as natural air-conditioning, so it is also called Qingliangdong. The landscape of this cave can be divided into three sections. The first section of the entrance requires climbing ropes. The two-storey building has large stone curtains, stone vines, golden yellow and silver stalactites on the rock wall. The second section has large waterfalls and various stalactites. There are many water channels, indicating that the water flow at that time was very large. The third section It is slippery and stimulating, and the various types of stalactites are very beautiful. You can see the panoramic view. After the exit, you can lead to the Grand Canyon or Jingudong on the right. Cave Measurements: The cave is approximately 35 meters long and 10 meters wide, with a drop of about 13 meters between the entrance and the bottom. It is a long, narrow cave with separate entrances and exits. Beifeng Jile Cave can be divided into two sections. The front section is primarily a towering triangular cave, reaching a height of 16 meters from bottom to ceiling. Large amounts of soil, rock debris, and rock blocks rushed in through the 5-meter-wide entrance, accumulating on the slopes and floor below. The back section is primarily composed of massive rock blocks, estimated to be 10-12 meters thick and several meters in diameter. Visitors must climb and crawl through the rock blocks in this section, then climb to the cave entrance from the top of the colluvial layer, or return and exit through the front section. The cave rocks within the cave are primarily of two types: flowstone and travertine. Precautions: 1. Beifeng Bliss Cave is a double-exit cave. The terrain at the two entrances and exits is steep and it is not easy to climb. Limestone cave conservation rangers are required to make sure at each end point to avoid falling and slipping accidents. 2. The entrances and exits need to be climbed down by ropes. There are many water channels in the cave, indicating that the water flow during the formation period is very large, and the rock mass should be paid attention to when it is wet and slippery.
