NOTE 2: »Chorwan« (Thomas, undated Mss in Glennie s.a.: Appendix B: Kashmir State) near 34°40'N: 74°55'E (nima.mil/geonames (accessed 16.11.2003) is indicated near 34°39'N: 74°54'E on AMS sheet NI43-06 Srinagar (U502 series, 1959 edition) above both banks of the Kurai nar. NOTE 3: »Sukial Nala« (Glennie, undated Mss after Major N.N. Thomas) is probably the river Kurai which is shown on AMS sheet NI43-06 Srinagar (U502 series, 1959 edition) to join near 34°37'N: 74°52'E the Kishanganga from the right (north-east).
On a tour along the –>Kishanganga (Kishan Ganga) Major N.N. Thomas (note 1) came across an unspecified cave (item no. III) situated »opposite Chorwan« (note 2) in the »Sukial Nala« or Kurai nar (note 3).
