Description
An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a single, fox-sized cave passage, which leads after an estimated distance of »250 metres« or, perhaps, 25 feet (?) to an »ocean« or pool, if not puddle. SITUATION: At about two hours walking distance from the town of Gorahi (at ca. 800 m asl on the western / orographically right bank of the Gorahi Khola), a cliff at the flanks of the Hare Krishna Pahar exposes a 150 m wide outcrop of subhorizontally bedded limestone at an elevation of approximately 1160 to 1200 m asl. The cave entrance is easiest reached by walking from the Hindu temple Ambeshwari Mandir of Ambapur village (on the eastern, orographically left bank of Gorahi Khola) to the village of Gunga Daura (1220 m asl barometric).
