Description
Unspecified »remains of … caves … hollowed out in the rock« which appear to represent man-made cave temples (rock-cut chambers used for religious purposes), reported IMPERIAL GAZETTEER (1907-1909, 8: 59) from Gaorara (N20°05'30”: E079°07' Everest 1830 coordinates), a village 2.5 km south of Bhandak town (note 1). The principal rock temple is called –>Jobnasa's palace, and the two chief rock chambers are called his big and little fowl house.
