An undescended »circular pit, with perpendicular sides in the sandstones« near the village of »Umrasniang« (LATOUCHE, T H D 1883b: 200) or Umrasiang (note 1), a village about 3 km in a direct line approximately west-north-west of Musianglamare (note 2). ETYMOLOGY: No autochthonous, indigenous or locally known name has been identified for this closed depression (doline) named after the more or less nearby village of »Umrasniang« (LATOUCHE, T H D 1883b: 200) or Umrasiang (note 3). CAVE DESCRIPTION 1883: »Close to Umrasniang [sic!] village I observed a circular pit, with perpendicular sides in the sandstones, 50 or 60 feet [or, perhaps, yards] deep, and as many in diameter …« (LATOUCHE, T H D 1883b: 200). CAVE DESCRIPTION 1998: Valery Lalvula, Annette Becher, Lindsay B. Diengdoh, Richard 'Ritschi' Frank, Uwe Krüger, Thilo Müller, and Andrew "Andy" Peter Tyler came near the same village of »Umrasniang« (Latouche) or an other village of Umrasiang (sic!) across a doline 60 m in diameter and at least 40 m deep.
