An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) in an unidentified kind of rock is said to give access to an unidentified cave called Krem Khla (Raphael Warjri 1998.11.17 personal communication)ETYMOLOGY: The Khasi cave name Krem Khla (Raphael Warjri 1998) translates as Tiger Cave (note 1). SITUATION: Unknown. Somewhere in the vicinity of Nongpoh (25°54'N: 91°53'E), the town about halfway between Shillong and Gauhati. IDENTITY: Krem Khla (Nongpoh) is possibly (but far from necessarily) identical with Krem –>Pdeh Kyntang Phud Umngei (also: Krem Pdah Kyndeng / Krem Pdeh Kynsleng) or with one of the unidentified caves on the hill –>Sohpet Byneng (GURDON, P R T 1906: 161) or Sohpet Bneng.
