Description

Martin Ellis - 01/10/2019

Tham Sila is just a small overhang that has a simple shrine with some Buddhas. This is a large exposure of cross-laminated sandstone which has many caves and a large trough. It is thought that the trough is the remains of an eroded salt trough. Some salt deposits can still be found on the roof of the caves.
