Description
»Local people say there are many caves« somewhere in the vicinity of the village of Nokrek (note 1), which is equipped with a fine Forest Department Inspection Bungalow (Santu Bhattarcharjee 1995.12.05 personal communication).
NOTE 1: Nokrek peak 25°27'N: 90°20'E (nima.mil/geonames accessed 16.11.2003) is indicated as »1412 Nokrok« in the India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006: 45 E3) about 10 km (or less) in a direct line approximately south-east from Tura (25°31'N: 90°13'E).
