An unspecified cave entrance (unidentified shape, unidentified dimensions, unidentified orientation, unidentified characteristics) is said to give access to a cave called Krem Siej Ngap (Kharpran Daly, B D 2012.02.12 personal communication with Mesik Pakem, Larket village headman, in: anonymous Arbenz, T et al. 2013.08.07 Mss: Diary 2012.doc for Sunday 12th February 2012). ETYMOLOGY: The origin and meaning of the Synteng Khasi (Pnar) cave name -Krem Siej Ngap- has not yet been discovered but seems to indicate rather a location than a specific cave name as it refers to a (growth of?) bamboo (note 1) that has something to do with either a bee (note 2), a honey (note 3) or a cheek (note 4). EXPLORATION HISTORY: 2012.02.12: Mesik Pakem, then the village headman of Larket, told Brian D. Kharpran Daly and Khlur Mukhim on 12th February 2012 (Sunday) the cave name Krem Siej Ngap when Brian and Khlur went to meet Mesik Pakem, the headman of the village of Larket. Over a cup of tea he informed them that there were many caves near the village and named a few [six] of them: Krem Liat Hati, Krem Sdiang, Krem Sapieng, Krem Ruchia, Krem Skong and Krem Siej Ngap (anonymous Arbenz, T 2013.08.07 Diary 2012).
