Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

A 5 m wide and 3 m high entrance to 60 m of slightly ascending, mostly joint controlled passage leading to an infilling of dry, cracked mud below a calcite floor. The cave contains a considerable amount of stalagmitic matter (speleothems), including a perched calcite floor (partly broken) and one stalagnate (calcite column, more than 30 cm in diameter, more than one metre high). SITUATION: At a distance of estimated 200 m in a direct line east-northeast (290°) of –>Ograha Gat Ghara #1 but estimated 35 vertical metre higher up. CAVE LIFE: Bird droppings, empty mudwasp burrows and traces of porcupine (Hystrix). For determination some relics of a partly decompsed porcupine carcass were collected from the dark zone, at a distance of 45 m from the cave entrance.
