Description
A rock overhang at Charang, which is large enough to shelter eight or nine over-night people, is used as a halting place and overnight camp by guided trekking groups (note 1) on the trek from Dharmsala via Indrahar / Indrahara Pass (4300 m) to Bharmaur (note 2). APPROACH: The cave is reached from MacLeodganj (note 3) above Dharamsala (note 4) via Triund (note 5l) and another three walking hours past Illaqa Gote (note 6) to Charang (3350 m asl) at the base of Indrahara Pass (note 7).
