Description
Two rectangular, south-south-east facing cave entrances give access to two man-made rock chambers (about 2 m wide, high and deep) excavated from the flank of a small peninsula, marked by a small Hindu temple with a Gandhi statue in front. SITUATION: Next to each other on the Jallandar - Chakratirth beach on Diu Island. Each of the two rock temples contain a lingam of allochthonous (imported) rocks set into yonis cut from the living calcarenite.
