Description
A number of 16 caves (probably man-made rock-cut chambers constituting a cave dwelling) where Tibetans live in winter are recorded by PRANAVANANDA (1949: 159) from a place 2.5 km from a road junction (5 km north of -Chhabrang- sic! for: –>Tsaparang), where the road from Mana to Tsaparang crosses first the dry bed of a stream from Thusi la, and second the road from Jelukhaga Duar (Dhuar, pass / Tsagchok La) to -Thuling- (–>Tholing).
