Location

»Borunda village, situated 105 km north-east [sic! for: east] of Jodhpur [note 1], is famous for its water potential. Dug-wells constructed in this village are tapping ground water from the cavernous limestone of the Vindhyan system, with water level at a depth of 50 m and in turbulent motion in the solution cavities. The discharge is around 40 to 70 cubic metres per hour« (MURTY, K S 1988: 449). Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 28/02/2016
