Description
The Buddhist caves at Khadsamla [note 1], first noticed in the year 1881 by H. Cousens and falling in the same geographic setting as Thanala … the vihara-cumchaitya cave has some features similar to Cave 7 at Thanala … The cave had elaborate wood-work on the facade and partitions, of which indications by way of sockets exist both on the floor and the ceiling (Indian Archaeology: A Review [IAR] 1981-1982 edited 1984: 96-97).The Buddhist caves at Khadsamla [note 1], first noticed in the year 1881 by H.
