Description
The suspicious place name Dobhakol Nengphieng (bat cave Nengphieng) near N25°28'35”: E090°42'35” (WGS84 modified from N25°28'33”: E090°42'45” Everest 1830) is shown on Survey of India sheet 78-K/11 (1973 edition) north-east of Nongwalbibra (note 1), and above the left (eastern) bank of the river Rongtham, a tributary from the north to the Simsang (Someswari) and about 2 km in a direct line approximately ENE from Dobhakol (Simsanggithim). CAVE DESCRIPTION: This is possibly not a cave on its own but a sister village of –>Dobhakol Simsanggithim (about 2 km in a direct line south-east).
