Location
Adjacent east of the road from Bhilwara (note 1) south to Nimbahera (note 2), a well (keyword: cave diving spot) is marked on AMS sheet NG43-14 Udaipur (U502 series, 1959 edition) where the crosses the railway line about a kilometre or two south or south-west of Chittaurgarh.
Description
General description
The geological map indicates well stratified limestone … we visited two bands of limestone at kilometres 2 and 15 on the road to Udaipur. At numerous pits, the groundwater is seen at a depth of -3 m. Despite intensive pumping the water level does not change. Here, the job is reserved for cave divers (DUBOIS 1996: 13).
