Location
From Kanchanaburi take the H3429 over the River Kwae. Just after the bridge turn sharp left and go back along the river. After passing a large Chinese cemetary on the right and some sand and cement sites Wat Ban Tham is on the right about 5-6km from the sharp right turn. From the upper entrance to Tham Khuha Mongkon Sawan steps lead to a sala, Tham Mhan Wijit, and a gold chedi. You climb about 700 steps to reach the chedi.
