There is a kind of »cave« or rock shelter with rock art exactly situated somewhere in certain »Kambhakam Nagalpuram Hills« in South India (ROCK ART IN INDIA 1984: 276). SITUATION: The »Kambhakam Nagalpuram Hills« seems to stand for »Kambhakam [in the] Nagalpuram Hills« where the fort »Kambakkam Drug« (13°34'N: 79°51'E) at an elevation of 774 m asl (India Road Atlas, Eicher Goodearth 2006: 113 G2) lies in the »Nagalapuram Hills« (13°35'N: 79°50'E) above the town of Nagalapuram (13°24'N: 79°47'E) on AMS sheet ND44-10 and about 70 km in a direct line approximately north-west from Madras (saffronized Chennai 13°05'N: 80°17'E).
