Description

Herbert Daniel Gebauer - 06/01/2018

An about 2 m wide, east-facing cave entrance in the south-western corner of the doline containing –>Butneshwar Gupha gives access to 16 m of cave passage which descends, including one 3 m drop, towards west along the local dip of the strata (after Laumanns 2006.03.25 cave plan: Butneswar Gupha). CAVE DESCRIPTION: The cave entrance opens in the lowest parts of the sinkhole depression and leads a few metres to the west until a 3 m deep drop is reached. Beyond the climb the passage continues with smaller size and soon leads to a mud choke (Laumanns & Breitenbach 2006.04.15 Mss: Cave descriptions India Speleological Expedition 2006). CAVE LIFE: There are large spiders in the cave’s entrance section.
