Description
Two neighbouring low cave entrances (up to 2 m wide, 0.4 m high) give access to an ascending belly crawl below a gravitationally dislocated mass of granite. The original impulse to penetrate immediately (23rd January 2001) was modified by the presence of 1st) a cow or buffalo which was not very old but torn into pieces, 2nd) of a certain wild cat odour, and 3rd) clear and large Cheetah footprints in the sand. SITUATION: High up on the western side of Risheshwara Pahar in the ESE of –>Nandia village, and about 150 or 250 m north of –>Nilkantheshwara Gufa.
