… Gulmi … territory contains mines of zinc (dasta), cinnabar (sabita), and copper, of which one is on a hill, called Chandrakot, and another on Arakul Pahar, near the former. These mines would appear to be valuable (HAMILTON BUCHANAN 1819 edited 2009: 264).
