11.400000,76.700000
Description
A natural sacred cave (temple cave) in gravitationally dislocated (syenotid gneiss?) boulders is virtually accessible on a photograph which shows a Kurumba priest [note 1] and fellow villager in front of a small cave some distance from the village where objects connected to rituals are stored. These objects included animal horns and pottery. The pottery vessels are revered as divinities (homepages.wmich.edu/~zagarell/nilcomm.htm accessed 2004.11.01).A natural sacred cave (temple cave) in gravitationally dislocated (syenotid gneiss?) boulders is virtually accessible on a photograph which shows a Kurumba priest [note 1] and fellow villager in front of a small cave some distance from the village where objects connected to rituals are stored.
