Description
A rock shelter (approximately 5 m wide, 2 m high and 2.5 m deep) resulting from lateral erosion and frost shattering. SITUATION: Near the base of a small waterfall on the right bank of (the stream) Phamrong Chu (note 1) and about a kilometre in a direct line north east of Dupdi Dzong, a monastery near Yuksom (note 2). CULTURAL HISTORY: Sacred to Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava. Hoards numerous deteriorating tsatsas.
