Location
In a low hill 3 km north-east of Ban Kao station. The entrance is about 4 m above the valley floor in the face of a cliff.
Description
According to local tradition the small cave has been inhabited by a Buddhist monk for over 200 years and the remains of a brick wall can be seen at the entrance (it was pictured in a 1950s Bangkok newspaper as evidence of the remains of a million-year old city). Several paleolithic artifacts were located in the small talus slope outside and inside the cave.
