Description
An irregularly shaped cave entrance in a rift along bearing 025° / 205° gives access to a walking sized passage (1 m wide, 3.5 m high, descending by 45° towards 205°) that leads to a 7 m drop (not descended) into what appers to be an estimated large chamber with a triangular ground plan. ETYMOLOGY: Colin Rogers (2001.03.21 personal communication) … debated names with villagers and at first everything was 'Dobhakol' (bat cave). We suggested the stream and they were happy with it. For better confusion, compare –>Chignap Kol, –>Chignap Sink (Dapsi Toligri), –>Chignup Kol, –>Chitokpa Rongkol and –>Dobhakol (Chignap). SITUATION: At an unidentified location somewhere approximately east (or so) of –>Chignupkol. CAVE CLIMATE: Temperature: 19.2°C (air ?, 2001.02.20). CAVE LIFE: Bats (Chiroptera indet).
