EXPLORATION HISTORY: 1951: The site was first discovered through inscriptions … which came to light during the making of a road at the end of summer 1951 (LEVI 1972 edited 2000). 1970: Peter LEVI (1972 edited 1984, 2000: 86, 2002) in company with Bruce Chatwin, visited.
