Description
A rock shelter is found opposite of ->rNal.'byor Phug above the left (eastern) bank of Buri Gandaki (or: Budhi Gandaki), north of Rö, in the Tibetan area of Nubri. According to oral tradition as told in Nubri (ARIS 1975: 79) it is said to to have been formed by the extraction of a boulder during the magical contest of Milarepa and a demoness. A short distance to the south the neighbouring ->sRin-mo Phug is found.
