Description
A number of seasonal karst springs issuing from the marble at Panch Kund (at the base of the Nagpahar / Naga Pahar east or south-east of Pushkar) were found dry in the pre-monsoon time of Summer 1991 and revealed impenetrable small tubes (SCHERZER 1993). Compare the note by TOD (1829-1832, 1: 608) on the springs of the "serpent mount" below the Cave of –>Agastyamuni ( Pushkar ).
