There is a suspiciously called railyway station Ariankavu or Aryankavu (cave, mine or well of Arian, Ariyan or Aryan) near N08°59': E77°10' (nima.mil/geonames accessed 16.11.2003) . SITUATION: Neither Ariankavu nor Ariyankavu or Aryankavu is shown on AMS sheet NC43-16 Trivandrum (U502 series, 1959 edition) or listed in India Road Atlas (Eicher Goodearth 2006 index) but can be expected to lie at a travelling distance of about 5 km along the road or railway line to Quilon (Kollam, N08°53': E076°36') approximately south-west from Puliyara (note 1) and in the area where the districts of Kollam (Quilon) and Tirunelveli (Tinnevelly, Tirunelvely) meet on the Kerala - Tamil Nadu border.There is a suspiciously called railyway station Ariankavu or Aryankavu (cave, mine or well of Arian, Ariyan or Aryan) near N08°59': E77°10' (nima.mil/geonames accessed 16.11.2003) .
